The "Poltergeist curse" it is said that the movie Poltergeist is a horror movie which had a curse on its crew member because every actor who played a role in this movie had an unexpected death. Because this movie is a horror movie everyone said all deaths are related to this movie and this movie had a curse. A dream home becomes the house from hell as evil spirits rise up to possess the soul of a little child. The Poltergeist Curse is a rumored curse which derived from the unexpected deaths of this film crew.

Four of the actors in the 1982 horror movie Poltergeist died not along after the film came out, some of them unexpected deaths. because of this, people now believe that the film had a curse hanging over it. Even the child star Carol Anne died in 1988 at the age of 12.

Poltergeist is an American Horror Film. The film was distributed by Metro Goldwyn Mayer during the 1980s. The overview of this movie is a happy family who is stalked and terrorized by ghosts led by a demon known as the Beast. This group of ghosts is attracted to the youngest daughter Carol Anne. At first, ghosts appear friendly with the family, they move objects around the home, then they turn into evil and start terrorizing the family. The original film was produced and co-written by Steven Spielberg. This film collected approximately $132 million at the United States Box Office.. more info

The movie was great and even though some of the characters were kids the kids who played them did very well for such a  young age. Would recommend to any horror movie fan. This movie was the first one to give me actual jumps are unlike other movies I have watched before. The jumps are well thought out and basic. In my opinion, the horror movies made before the 2000s were better than the new ones even though they didn't have the best resources. I always hate it when a perfectly good movie from the 80s or 90s gets a new remake because it's basically the same but done in better quality. Overall this movie will always be one of my favorites.
